The "Official" Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism site

The Official Site of Tourism Newfoundland and Labrador sponsored by our Provincial government.  Lots of good information if your planning to visit. There's even a hunting/fishing page!

Newfoundland and Labrador Web Site

The oldest and one of the most comprehensive repositories of Newfoundland information and links.  There's a Newfoundland search engine as well that's ideal for finding that Newfoundland specific information.

The Unofficial Newfoundland & Labrador Tourism Information Site

This is one of the most comprehensive Newfoundland & Labrador sites on the net. It maybe unofficial, but it probably has more info than the "official" tourism site.

The Unofficial Newfoundland Links Page

A good starting point with lots of links, pictures and maps. Its tag line, "Linking You To Newfoundland and Labrador On The Internet" is fairly appropriate. However, last update was Nov. '98.

NASF

NASF (North Atlantic Salmon Fund) is an international organization, which tries to revive North Atlantic's native salmon populations and to secure the salmon fishing along the river areas. To reach their objectives the organization has developed a simple, but practical method; it redeems all open sea fishing quotas of salmon.

Fluvarium

Built to educate the public about freshwater ecology. It is the only public fluvarium of its kind in North America, dedicated to the education of school children and visitors alike about our freshwater world.

Trout Unlimited

Trout Unlimited Canada is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of watersheds and the wise use of our coldwater fisheries through habitat restoration and enhancement, research, management and public education.

SPAWN

The Salmon Preservation Association for the Waters of Newfoundland. A conservation and fishing organization located on the Wet Coast of Newfoundland.

Environment Canada's Green Lane

A science-based government department whose business is helping Canadians live and prosper in an environment that is properly protected and conserved.  It's their goal to help make sustainable development a reality in Canada and, by doing so, make our country an example to the world. (That's the official line anyway)
