You'll have a fight on your hands
Salmon up to 20 lbs have been consistently caught in Garia Bay River, and the number of fish in the 10 lb range have been steadily increasing since 1991. However, any fish hooked in this river
will give you everything you can handle when they come for your fly.
Excellent Salmon fishing is available in the local rivers and estuaries in late June and July. During July and August, an excellent run of sea-run brook trout, ranging up to a hefty 4 lbs.,
enter the rivers.
Salmon and Trout come readily to such wet flies as the Blue Charm and Cosseboom. The use of selected dry flies made from caribou and deer hair will surely provide some excellent moments for the angler.
